A, Standard fixation of fibular fracture with one third semitubular 3.5-mm plate and screws.
B, Multiple 3.5-mm lag screws.
C, Two lag screws for long oblique fracture.
D, Single 3.5-mm malleolar screw for low transverse fracture.
E, Tension band wiring; note 4-mm lag screw fixation of associated medial malleolar fracture.
F, Fixation with 3.5-mm intramedullary screw.

ACL & MCL COMPLETE TEAR :

24 Years boy fell during Sports and sustained a serious injury to his Knee. MRI showed complete ACL tear, Grade 2 Lateral Meniscus Tear and Complete MCL tear / Avulsion from Tibia.

Arthroscopic ACL Reconstruction and MCL Repair with Sutures and Screw done.
Due to this stable fixation, patient was able to recover completely and rapidly.

24 वर्षीय इस लड़के को खेल के दौरान गिरने के कारण घुटने में गंभीर चोट लग गई थी। MRI कराने पर यह मालूम पड़ा कि जोड़ के अंदर के लिगामेंट ACL और MCL पूरी तरह से टूटे हुए हैं।

मरीज का दूरबीन विधि द्वारा ऑपेरशन कर के घुटने के अंदर नया ACL लिगामेंट लगाया गया, तथा MCL को टाकों एवं Screw की सहायता से मजबूती से जोड़ा गया।
इस ऑपरेशन के बाद लड़के को घुटने में फिर से पहले जैसी मजबूती मिली और वो फिर से खेल-कूद में भाग लेने में सक्षम हो पाया।
