As a and mother of two small kids, many including me were skeptical about participating in this . Of course, there were many people including my husband, family and friends who did encourage me as well. My instincts and confidence in myself pushed me to do it and the rest as they say, is history..
29 from all over India, 3 days of learning, hard work, fun and challenges one could never imagine!
Walked the ramp as part of campaign to spread the awareness for breast cancer and Stood as a runner up in the pageant. Learnt so much, made new friends, represented my state at the National level and made many memories. Met so many people, each with their own inspiring stories to tell.
As rightly said, it's not just about the .
It's about the million moments in the journey where you learn and grow. It's about appreciating the beauty of the journey rather than the sparkle of the destination. It's about the confidence about carrying yourself like a queen and putting yourself out there despite the odds. It's about standing up for yourself, doing something for yourself. It's about taking risks, trying something new and enjoying the adventures that life offers.
It's about breaking stereotypes and breaking boundaries. It's about realising that power is within you, not anywhere outside. It's about leading by example and empowering other women to stand up for what they believe in. It's about setting an example for your kids and telling them that the sky is NOT the limit. The only limit is the one in your mind.
