Mullerian Agenesis (MRKH Syndrome) is a rare congenital condition affecting about 1 in 5,000 girls. In this condition, the uterus and upper va**na do not develop properly, while the ovaries function normally.

Girls with MRKH usually have normal puberty, including normal breast development and female hormones, but do not get their first menstrual period (primary amenorrhea).

The condition is usually diagnosed during the teenage years through ultrasound or MRI. Treatment may involve va**nal reconstruction (vaginoplasty) or non-surgical va**nal dilation, depending on the individual's needs, along with appropriate counseling and support.
