With immense pleasure, I would like to inform you that our cardiac surgery team has recorded zero postoperative in-house mortality in the last 1 year (1.3.2025 to 28.2.2026).
I am thankful to Almighty for the continuous shower of blessings. We dealt with a variety of patients, some of whom were really sick or in critical condition or with difficult anatomy which imposed special challenges. Sometimes I felt worried that this patient might not come out of the operating theatre alive after surgery. But with God’s blessings, all the patients came out and went home.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the team members:
Dr. Snehal, Dr. Toral, Dr. Sachin, Dr. Nitin, Dr. Shilpa, Dr. Chhaya, Dr. Kishan, Mr Kirti, Mr. Deepak, Mrs. Sumitra, and other OT & ICU staff members. Their hard work and support for the common cause made this achievement possible.
I am thankful to Dr. Zenith sir and Dr. Sankalp Sir for their constant support. and 24X7 availability in case any patient becomes sick. I thank them for taking care of any patient who comes with additional risk. I also thank my cardiologist colleagues for trusting me and my skills. I am grateful to all other consultants in our hospital for their valuable support.
I am thankful to Sterling Hospital for giving me the opportunity to serve the needy patients and providing me the required facilities and support to make best out of me.
I would also like to take this opportunity to announce that our unit have started doing MICS cases on regular basis. Slowly as the technique improves and expertise develops we will include more patients. In future we are planning to start Endoscopic cardiac surgery program so that patients of this region can get benefit of recent modalities of cardiac surgical treatment.
