🌿 Auspicious Beginning on Shravana Sud Padvo 🌿

To mark Shravana Sud Padvo, the Department of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana, RKU ACH initiated the first step of Kupipakwa Rasayana preparation by commencing Bhavana of Kajjali with Kumari Swarasa.

Understanding the First Essence of Life: Rasa Dhatu (रस धातु)

As part of our 3rd Periodic Assessment in Kriya Sharir, here is an insightful video presentation exploring Rasa Dhatu—the foundational tissue layer (Prathama Dhatu) in Ayurvedic Physiology!

🧠 Key Highlights Covered in the Video:
Definition & Circulation: Derived from Ahara Rasa (digested food essence), Rasa Dhatu continuously circulates throughout the entire body to sustain life ("Rasa Gatau").

Dominant Element: Chiefly composed of Jala Mahabhuta (Water element).

Primary Function (Karma): Preenana—providing nourishment, hydration, and a sense of satisfaction to every cell and mind.

Secondary Tissues (Upadhatu): Stanya (Breast Milk) and Artava (Menstrual Fluid).

Metabolic By-product (Mala): Kapha (specifically Poshaka Kapha).

💡 Understanding Rasa Dhatu is crucial, as the health of all subsequent Dhatus (Rakta, Mamsa, Meda, Asthi, Majja, Shukra) directly depends on the quality of Rasa Dhatu!
