Meaningful Day at Prapti Welfare Society
Today, we had the privilege of hosting an Oath Ceremony and Rajyoga Meditation Session at Prapti Welfare Society, conducted by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment.
From 6th August to 20th August, a nationwide campaign is being conducted where 10 crore Indians are taking an oath to stay away from drugs and substance abuse. We are truly happy and proud that our organisation could be a part of this meaningful movement.
As the only Rehabilitation Partner associated with Kolkata Police under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, such initiatives are very close to our heart. The message of a healthy, peaceful and substance-free life perfectly complements our rehabilitation journey.
At the end of the programme, the Brahma Kumari Didi's blessed all our staff and inmates, and lovingly offered sweets to everyone.
We also requested the Didi's to kindly conduct a meditation and Rajyoga session once or twice every month at our centre. We believe that regular meditation can bring greater peace, positivity, self-awareness and strength to our residents during their recovery journey.

Fellowship meetings are an integral part of our post-discharge training and rehabilitation process. After discharge, our former inmates, irrespective of age, come together and attend NA and AA meetings as a united community. This is a truly wonderful and inspiring aspect of our rehabilitation program, helping them remain connected, support one another, and continue their journey towards a healthy, meaningful, and substance-free life. It is truly heartwarming to see that today, all of them have maintained long-term sobriety and are leading happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives.🙏

All the staff and employees of Prapti Welfare Society have, quite coincidentally, come together as passionate supporters of Team Argentina this year!
As a de-addiction and rehabilitation centre, we strongly believe that sports play a vital role in the recovery journey, promoting discipline, teamwork, hope, and a healthy lifestyle.
Today, on the occasion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, we are incredibly excited. For the past few days, we have stayed up late, enjoying every thrilling moment of the tournament together. Moments like these come only once every four years, making them even more special.
