Honouring 24 Years of Dedicated Service

Scudder Memorial Hospital held a Retirement Thanksgiving Prayer Meeting in honour of Mrs. Suganthi Benjamin, Nursing Superintendent, on 13 June 2026 at the Hospital Chapel.

For more than 24 years, she served the institution with commitment, compassion and steadfast leadership, making a valuable contribution to nursing care and the hospital community.

We thank God for her years of faithful service and wish her a peaceful, healthy and blessed retired life.

A Mission of Healing and Hope

Dr. Rup Solomon, Consultant Physician at Scudder Memorial Hospital, visited Jeevan Jyothi Community Health Clinic, Banjar, Kothagudem, and conducted medical camps that served more than 250 patients.

The visit highlighted the dedicated work of the missionaries and staff serving the community through healthcare and Christian witness. The clinic is currently in urgent need of a committed full-time doctor.

Let us continue to pray for this ministry and for more young doctors to respond to this meaningful call to serve.

As part of the observance of World Mental Health Awareness Day, Scudder Memorial Hospital organised a Free Mental Health Medical Camp from 25 to 30 May 2026 at the SMH campus.

The camp was led by Dr. V. Jai Indhiyadevi, MBBS, MD (Psychiatry), and offered professional consultation and guidance for adults, students and children experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances, behavioural difficulties, learning challenges, autism, ADHD and other mental health conditions.

The initiative aimed to promote early identification, reduce stigma and encourage individuals and families to seek timely support for mental and emotional well-being.

We appreciate everyone who participated and contributed to making this programme meaningful.
