Vaman :- Expulsion of vitiated doshas through mouth is terme as vamana. Virechan :- Expulsion of vitiated doshas through re**um. Here the medicine is administered through mouth & vitiated doshas are expelled through re**um. Vasti :- Administration of medicated oils or decotions into the re**um is called vasthi. Nasya :- Administration of medicated oils, juices etc. through nostrils is known as nasya karma or sirovirechan. Rakthamokshan :- Leting out a specific quantity of blood from a diseased part of body to bring fresh blood circulating over there is rakthmokshan.
