28 yr male appears on clinic to show a cluster of small, reddish, fluid-filled blisters on a red base situated on the right side of the neck.

This rash shares characteristics with herpes zoster (shingles), a painful viral infection caused by the reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus.

It also resembles a herpes simplex outbreak, which can cause similar localized, blistering lesions.

Alternatively, this type of localized rash can sometimes be caused by insect bites or contact dermatitis.

Comment your differential diagnosis.
