Summer Solstice a.k.a. The Day of Light - longest ay of the year in the northern hemisphere and peak energy.

Yesterday I had the pleasure to experience the summer soulstice this year in the world’s capital of yoga, Rishikesh 🇮🇳. I witnessed a ceremony and participated in a yoga session by the Ganga River, one of the most sacred rivers in India. They say fully submerging in it will wash away all your sins and be reborn.

The energy was so colorful and the spirits were very playful! You can feel the river’s energy from miles away. 💙

Highly recommend a visit for those into any form of spirituality and esoteric practices. 😄

This weekend was a powerful reminder and reflection of what it takes to achieve harmony in your life is to start from within. What defines us is not always external (wealth, status, relationships etc.) but on our self-concept beyond these labels. The river flows but never forgets its origin 🌊

The Sun card reminds us that positivity is part of the formula to success, and that the light can be found anywhere and within!

A new beginning doesn’t always start with a bright flash of light or a loud bang.

Sometimes, it’s the first beam of light after a storm. The silence after the last of dew falling from the leaf. The dampened earth smell finally hinting the start of a new cycle.

A bittersweet feeling a new start could be.

To say goodbye to the familiar past, in order to move forward to a more fruitful future.

Isn’t it funny that we try to hide these negative emotions so much because we feel it alienates us from everyone else? But it’s a natural emotion, and more often than not it brings us closer to other people (or at least with the right kind of people). When you bottle it in, it creates more pressure and can cloud your thinking and judgement.
