This family had a previous child who is having developmental delay. Genetic report of the child identified 2 genetic variants ( both were not exactly matching with the child’s problem).

Parents were absolutely normal and were having same genetic change as was present in the affected baby.

Next time testing in pregnancy was done and that pregnancy was terminated with the similar report, which was totally incorrect!!

This case discussion is to understand that a genetics consultation is required from a qualified clinical geneticist before taking any decision
