Every year, Birbhum Vivekananda Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital proudly celebrates its Foundation Day, and this year is no exception. Hahnemann Memorial Pledge-Taking Ceremony Successfully Observed

Birbhum Vivekananda Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Sainthia, successfully observed the Hahnemann Memorial Pledge-Taking Ceremony on 2nd July 2026 in solemn remembrance of the death anniversary of Dr. C. F. S. HAHNEMANN , the Father of Homoeopathy, in accordance with the directives of the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).

The programme commenced with the rendition of "Vande Mataram", followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and garlanding of the portraits of Dr. C. F. S Hahnemann and Swami Vivekananda. A brief address was delivered highlighting the life, philosophy, and invaluable contributions of Dr. C. F. S. Hahnemann to the science and practice of Homoeopathy. Thereafter, the Hahnemann Memorial Pledge was administered to all participants, reaffirming their commitment to ethical medical practice, professional integrity, compassionate patient care, and the advancement of Homoeopathy.

The ceremony witnessed the active participation of the Teaching faculty,Doctors, Interns, and students. The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, "Jana Gana Mana," bringing the event to a dignified and patriotic close.

The institution expresses its sincere gratitude to all participants and organizers for their wholehearted cooperation in making the programme a meaningful and memorable tribute to the enduring legacy of Dr. C. F. S. Hahnemann.

YOGA AWARENESS CAMP BY BVHMCH - 2026

International Yoga Day 2026 – Yoga Awareness Camp

On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2026, a Yoga Awareness Camp was successfully organized at Birbhum Vivekananda Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Sainthia, Birbhum, West Bengal.

The camp was conducted in a well-organized and enthusiastic manner, with active participation from a large number of patients, students, faculty members, hospital staff, and members of the general public. The programme focused on creating awareness about the immense benefits of yoga for physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The overwhelming response and active participation of the attendees made the event a grand success. Such initiatives play an important role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging the adoption of yoga as a way of life.

International Yoga Day & Paschimbanga Divas Celebration 2026

Birbhum Vivekananda Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital

International Yoga Day and Paschimbanga Divas were celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur at Birbhum Vivekananda Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital. The programme witnessed active and wholehearted participation from students, interns, teaching faculty, non-teaching staff, hospital staff, and other members of the institution.

The event began with a collective yoga session, highlighting the importance of yoga in maintaining physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Participants performed various yoga postures and breathing exercises with great interest and dedication.

The celebration of Paschimbanga Divas added a special significance to the occasion, reflecting pride in the rich culture, heritage, and achievements of West Bengal.

Every successful programme begins with thoughtful planning and teamwork. As part of the preparations for the upcoming celebration of International Yoga Day and Paschimbanga Divas 2026, a planning meeting was held at Birbhum Vivekananda Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital.

Faculty members, staff, and organizers came together to discuss and finalize the programme schedule, responsibilities, and arrangements to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
