Prism Cover Test is an important eye examination used to measure **eye deviation (squint / strabismus)** accurately. In this test, prisms are placed in front of the eye to **neutralize eye movement** while covering and uncovering each eye. It helps eye specialists detect **latent squint (phoria), manifest squint (tropia)** and decide proper treatment like **glasses, prisms, vision therapy, or surgery**. Early diagnosis means **better binocular vision and eye comfort
