A 4-year-old child with speech delay and mild developmental concerns attended DEIC Kamrup Metro for developmental intervention. Although the child's intellectual ability is intact, he requires support in developing basic conceptual understanding.
As part of the therapy session, the child was introduced to basic colors and encouraged to scribble using crayons to improve color recognition, hand grip, and fine motor skills. Such early intervention activities play a vital role in enhancing cognitive, communication, and motor development, helping every child achieve their full potential.
Early identification and timely intervention can make a lasting difference.

A 8 year old child visited DEIC Kamrup Metro with issues related to learning and academics. On investigation by the psychologist her IQ is average but she is found to be a slow learner, and shows difficulty with attention and concentration which is affecting her academics.

For basic counting we did an activity where she was asked to do the counting using soya chunks instead of the usual hand counting and through writing. Like this she'll find counting interesting and easier to remember.
