Continuing its series of awareness programs, Today on 21/09/2023 a one day awareness program with 'Teaching and Non teaching staff' was held at of one of the leading couching institution of Srinagar 'ALLEN CAREER INSTITUTE Nowgam Srinagar.' The program was organised by Crime Branch J&K (ANTF) in collaboration with "Youth Development and Rehabilitation Centre Eidgah Sringar , J&K Police & Civil Society of Kashmir.
Director YDRC Eidgah,Dr. Mohd. Muzafer Khan presided the program and deliberated on 'Prevention and Treatment of Substance Use Disorder' in detail and also provided the participants with practical aspects of Substance Use disorder.
Mrs. Iram ( Counseling Psychologist) provided the current alarming numbers of Substance Use Disorder , different abused drugs and current trends.
Mr. Ishfaq Qureshi ( Counseling Psychologist) discussed the 'Challenges in Substance Use Disorder and also discussed Risk and Protective Factors of Substance Use Disorder'.
The Head of the ALLEN CAREER INSTITUTE thanked the team for an insightful program. In the end YDRC team was facilitated by the administration of ALLEN CAREER INSTITUTE Nowgam, Srinagar for which the team is highly thankful.
