State of art facilities for children who are on autism spectrum, like early intervention , day care and boarding facilities are a " must " .
Whether mild , severe or profound, they need to be loved, taken care of, and looked after once their parents or caretakers are exhausted , sick or pass away.

"People love the polished version of autism, the quirky version, the gifted version. The version that fits neatly on TV. But profound autism can mean 24/7 care, aggression, sleepless nights, and siblings growing up around crises too."

Meet Kabeer, a child with special needs who has been enrolled at our institution for the past few years.
We may not know which religion, caste, or sect he belongs to, but we know one thing for certain: he is a divine and precious gift from our Creator.
Kabeer needs not only a warm and supportive home but also access to a multidisciplinary rehabilitation centre to help improve his functional abilities, independence, and overall quality of life.
He has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus and has a ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt in situ. He has neurological and musculoskeletal impairments, including left upper-limb spasticity, left wrist drop, and a left lower limb that is shorter than the right.
These impairments have affected his balance, gait pattern, upper-limb function, mobility, and overall functional independence. He is currently undergoing regular rehabilitation therapies aimed at improving his mobility, functional abilities, and quality of life.
Future Needs:--
Kabeer requires ongoing multidisciplinary rehabilitation to improve his mobility, balance, gait, upper-limb function, and overall independence. Continued therapy will focus on managing spasticity, improving wrist control and muscle strength, preventing contractures, and enhancing his overall functional abilities and quality of life.

Congratulations and best wishes to Mr Hussain Nalwala Sir and his team of donors , volunteers and well wishers.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Sakeena Itoo ma'am and Mr. Hussain Nalwala and Nalwala Foundation for their invaluable contribution towards strengthening healthcare at Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S.) Hospital.
We hope and pray , more sophisticated equipment will be added to make this hospital more advanced, accessible and affordable for poor people and people with special needs.
May this noble initiative become a source of
healing, relief and countless saved lives.

Sensory stimulation is essential for kids because it boosts brain development, refines motor skills, and improves emotional regulation. It provides the fundamental building blocks for learning and understanding the world. Repeated touch, sight, and sound experiences build nerve connections in the brain. Kids learn cause and effect by testing objects and materials. It trains the brain to filter out distractions and concentrate.
Repetitive sensory tasks help anxious or overwhelmed children self-soothe.

"Consistency is key to success"

Child name.....Iqra
Age.....5 year

Diagnose....Charcot- Marie-tooth (CMT) disease

Child presented with distal lower limb muscle weakness, foot drop, decreased ankle dorsiflexion, poor balance, reduced endurance, abnormal gait pattern, and difficulty in independent ambulation.
After regular therapies, child showed improvement in gait pattern and lower limb muscle activation. FES machine was used to improve dorsiflexion and reduce foot drop, while parallel bar training improved balance, weight-bearing, and walking ability. The child also showed better upper limb involvement during gait training, using both hands effectively for support in the parallel bars, which was not observed before therapy. Functional mobility and walking confidence improved.
We are highly grateful to "Nalwala Foundation" for donating these 2 equipments to our center.
