Drugs rarely begin with addiction.

They often begin with curiosity, a friend, a dare, or the belief that, “Just trying it once won’t make me an addict.”

Spoke today on narcotics and drug prevention at a seminar organised by the Ankleshwar Police Department, sharing the stage with senior professionals from healthcare and law enforcement, including the Deputy Superintendent of Police, the Police Inspector, and a leading orthopaedic surgeon.

Preventing substance use requires all of us to work together, long before someone becomes a patient.

From a single voice to 900+ minds — truly an unforgettable experience.

Had the honour of addressing more than 900 dedicated government school teachers, mostly women, at Surat’s prestigious Sanjeev Kumar Auditorium — speaking about something that truly matters: mental health and burnout.

About the teacher who never gets a recess.

Because when teachers are strong, aware, and emotionally balanced, they don’t just educate… they shape healthier generations.

Grateful for the opportunity to connect, share, and spark conversations that go beyond classrooms.

Back to what I’ve always been told I’m good at — after a brief pause from work for another wonderful life experience called motherhood.

Delivered a crisp talk on Mood, Cognition and Sleep in Menopause at a CME conducted by the Menopause Society of Surat on 15-02-2026.

(Yes… spent my Valentine’s Day preparing for this talk! 😅)

Thank you MSS and all the associations involved for the opportunity. I suspect I had even more fun — and learned just as much — as the audience!

Humbled beyond words to have been invited to deliver a talk on “MENTAL HEALTH IN MIDLIFE WOMEN” by Menopause Society Surat, Club 35+ Surat and Akhil Hind Mahila Parishad Bruhad Surat Shakha.

Grateful to all the organisers and the amazingly interactive crowd of over 150 people, who made the session truly worthwhile for everyone including me.

Midlife women have their unique problems when it comes to their mental health. Feeling overwhelmed to have helped so many of them clear out their doubts and share their hearts out.
