π You don't have to smile all the time...
This newspaper article highlights an important truth:
Suppressing sadness is not the same as happiness.
Today, many people feel pressured to appear positive all the time.
"I'm fine."
"I'm happy."
"Everything is okay."
But deep inside, they may be carrying fear, anxiety, loneliness, anger, or grief.
Over the last 33+ years, I've observed something very different.
Meditation doesn't teach us to become positive.
It teaches us to become aware.
When we stop fighting our emotions... When we stop pretending... When we simply observe with acceptance...
Transformation begins naturally.
πΏ You don't become free by escaping your emotions.
You become free by understanding them.
That's why, in our workshops, we don't teach people to suppress sadness or force happiness.
We teach them to witness the mind.
Because...
Awareness transforms what suppression never can.

What do you think?
Is it necessary to be positive all the time, or is it more important to be authentic?
