Smti Panchami Choudhury, (ACS) Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Health & Family Welfare Department, Guardian Officer, Tamulpur District, visit Tamulpur to inspect the on-going construction of Maternal and Child Health (MCH) wings and evaluate the field-level implementation of major healthcare schemes and programs. During her visit, she paid careful attention to Tamulpur Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital and Tamulpur Primary Health Center. She was accompanied by Prashanta Kumar Dutta DPM. NHM Tamulpur District.

The 100-day NCD campaigns review meeting was held today at SDCH Tamulpur district, chaired by Dr. Hitesh Kakoti, i/c Joint Director, Tamulpur district, and attended by Dr. Jyoti Kalita, SDM&HO Nizkaurabha BPHC, and Dr. Manjit Das, SDM&HO Tamulpur BPHC. During the review meeting, the i/c Joint Director of Tamulpur evaluated the performance of all health facilities and enquired about the strategies that each person in charge intends to undertake to improve performance in the future days. DPMU and BPMU, as well as the BPHC, CHOs, ANMs, MPWs, and ABPMs, all took part.

A mission to improve primary health care services in the Tamulpur district, Smt. Simi Karan, IAS, the District Commissioner of Tamulpur, shared a daylong orientation cm handholding training on health sector improvement in general and achieving the National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) in particular for identified health facilities in the Tamulpur District in the presence of the ADC Health and Team Quality lead by Dr. Himanshu Patuwary i/c DNO Quality and Smt. Vergin Devi i/c quality consultant at the DC conference hall. Tamulpur District. Dr. Biraj Kanti Shome, Health Systems Officer (WHO), takes the daylong session to all CHOs and medical officers present in today's meeting.
