Women don’t need superpowers.
They just need empathy, respect, and basic dignity.

Even today in modern India…

• Girls’ families feel pressured to meet unspoken expectations in weddings

• Parents still wash the groom’s feet while everyone silently accepts it

• When a girl speaks about inappropriate touch, she is told to “forget and move on”

• Widowed or divorced women are excluded from rituals

• A friendly, socially active woman is judged

• Working mothers are asked to sacrifice their careers

• When a husband insults or hurts a woman, she is told to save the marriage

***Maybe women don’t need a special day.
We just need the bare minimum — empathy, respect, fairness,
and the courage to stand up for each other.

Because real change will not begin with one day of celebration.

It will begin the day women start standing firmly beside other women.
