This case report describes a 66-year-old woman who developed a rare combined rupture of the flexor digitorum superficialis (FDS) and flexor digitorum profundus (FDP) tendons of the small finger three weeks after a single corticosteroid injection for trigger finger. Surgical reconstruction using the FDS as an intercalary graft restored excellent finger function. (Journal of Orthopaedic Case Reports)
