🌿 Allergic Urticaria – Ayurvedic Support 🌿
🔹 1. What is Allergic Urticaria?
Urticaria, commonly called hives, may cause sudden itching, raised red patches, swelling and skin irritation. In Ayurveda, similar presentations may be considered under Sh*tapitta, Udarda or Kotha, depending on the individual presentation.
🔹 2. 🌿 Haridra (Turmeric)
Traditionally valued for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties and commonly used in Ayurvedic skin-supportive care.
🔹 3. 🌿 Guduchi (Giloy)
A classical Rasayana herb traditionally used to support balanced immune function and Pitta-Kapha management.
🔹 4. 🍃 Nimba (Neem)
Traditionally used in Ayurvedic skin care for its cleansing and Pitta-Kapha-supportive qualities.
🔹 5. 🌿 Manjistha
Classically described as Raktashodhaka and traditionally used in Ayurvedic management of various inflammatory skin conditions.
🔹 6. 🌱 Sariva
Traditionally considered cooling and Pitta-shamak, particularly when redness, warmth or burning accompanies skin irritation.
🔹 7. 🥗 Ayurvedic Diet Support
Prefer fresh, simple, easily digestible foods and adequate hydration. Identify and avoid individual food or environmental triggers whenever possible.
🔹 8. 🚫 Lifestyle Care
Avoid known triggers, excessive heat and scratching. Wear comfortable clothing and maintain gentle skin care.
🔹 9. 🧘 Personalised Ayurvedic Approach
Treatment may be planned according to Prakriti, Vikriti, Dosha, Agni, Ama, symptoms and individual triggers, rather than using the same herbs for everyone.
