Meet her. 💚
She is 60–65.
Independent.
Strong-minded.
A homemaker.
A woman who takes care of her family—and herself.
She cooks.
She manages her home.
She enjoys her family.
But slowly…
some sounds begin disappearing from her everyday life.
The telephone. 📞
The doorbell.
The television.
Conversations at the dinner table.
The little sounds around her home.
And sometimes, the people around her don't understand.
“She doesn't listen.”
“She keeps asking us to repeat.”
But…
what if she isn't ignoring them?
What if she simply isn't hearing clearly?
I created her from the many real-life experiences I have witnessed as an audiologist.
You may recognise her from the covers of The Aging Ear and श्रुतीभ्रंश.
But there is much more to her story.
