Autism Awareness Day celebration “ *Ausum Fest 26* “ was observed at *Pratheeksha CDC* , Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital, Thiruvalla, under the joint initiative of Department of Pediatrics and IAP Pathanamthitta

The program began with a welcome address by *Mrs. Joselin Joseph*, CDC co- ordinator. This was followed by the key note Address by *Dr. Manju George Elenjickal* head of Pratheeksha CDC. An awareness class on ASD was conducted by *Dr. Reshma Ann Philip*, fellow in CDC . Ausum Fest 26 and the 11 th *Tiny Tails Summer camp* was then inaugurated by *Dr. Carol Sara Cherian,* Professor and HOD of Pediatrics.

Guest Motivational speaker and social influencer *Mrs. Merlin Mathew,* spoke to the parents on mindfulness which was followed by a musical feast by Pushpagiri Doctors Band *“ Dhwani “*
Children were entertained by the therapists of Pratheeksha CDC and parents actively engaged in the program which was aimed for their relaxation and mental well being.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by *Dr. Linda Jacob,* Post graduate in Pediatrics.
The programme was well attended by parents and family of 40 children with Autism.
