How to Use a Nasal Spray Correctly 👃💨

Using a nasal spray the right way helps the medicine work better.

✅ Check the expiry date before using the medicine.
✅ Gently blow your nose first.
✅ Shake the bottle well
✅ Keep your head slightly tilted forward.
✅ Aim the nozzle away from the nasal septum (towards the outer wall of the nose).
✅ Spray while taking a gentle breath in.
✅ Avoid sniffing too hard after spraying.
✅ Clean the nozzle and replace the cap after each use.

Proper technique improves effectiveness and helps reduce side effects such as nosebleeds.

🟢 Green Vomiting = RED ALERT! 🚨

Green (bilious) vomiting should be considered an intestinal obstruction until proven otherwise.

In newborns, always suspect malrotation with midgut volvulus until excluded, as delay can lead to bowel ischemia and bowel loss.

In older children and adults, green vomiting also warrants urgent evaluation for intestinal obstruction or other serious surgical conditions.
Never ignore green vomiting.
Early recognition and timely surgical assessment can save lives.
