कल उदयपुर में घटी घटना ने हर संवेदनशील व्यक्ति को सोचने पर मजबूर कर दिया है। एक घायल मरीज का उपचार करने के दौरान चिकित्सक और अस्पताल स्टाफ के साथ हुई मारपीट न केवल दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है, बल्कि एक सभ्य समाज के लिए अत्यंत निंदनीय भी है।

सबसे पहले हमारी संवेदनाएँ उस मरीज और उसके परिवार के साथ हैं। हम ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करते हैं कि मरीज शीघ्र स्वस्थ होकर अपने परिवार के बीच लौटे। किसी भी परिवार का दर्द, चिंता और अपनों को खोने का भय शब्दों में व्यक्त नहीं किया जा सकता।

लेकिन यह भी समझना आवश्यक है कि हर चिकित्सक का पहला और अंतिम उद्देश्य मरीज का जीवन बचाना होता है। दिन हो या रात, त्योहार हो या पारिवारिक अवसर, जब कोई मरीज अस्पताल के दरवाजे पर पहुंचता है तो डॉक्टर और पूरा चिकित्सा स्टाफ अपनी जिम्मेदारी निभाने के लिए तत्पर रहता है। वे अपनी पूरी शिक्षा, अनुभव और क्षमता के साथ मरीज को
