madhusūdanaḥ:- Shree Krishn, slayer of the Madhu demon

संजयः उवाच:- संजय ने कहा
तम्:- उसे, अर्जुन को
कृपया:- करुणा के साथ

अश्रु-पूर्ण:- आसुओं से भरे
आकुल:- निराश
ईक्षणम्:- नेत्र
विषीदन्तम्:- शोकाकुल

śhastra-pāṇayaḥ:- those with weapons in hand
dhārtarāṣhṭrāḥ:- the sons of Dhritarashtra
raṇe:- on the battlefield
hanyuḥ:- shall kill
tat:- that
me:- to me
kṣhema-taram:- better
bhavet:- would be

यदि:- यदि
माम्:- मुझको
अप्रतिकारम्:- प्रतिरोध न करने पर
शस्त्रम्:- बिना शस्त्र के
शस्त्र-पान्याः- वेगहाथों में शस्त्र धारण किये हुए हैं
धृतराष्ट्रः- धृतराष्ट्र के पुत्र
राणे:- युद्धभूमि में
हनु:- मार देता है
तत्:- वह
मैं:- मेरे लिए
क्षेम:- तरम् श्रेयस्कर
भवेत्:- होगा

ऐसा कहकर, अर्जुन, शोक से व्याकुल मन वाले होकर, अपने बाणों सहित धनुष को त्यागकर रथ के आसन पर बैठ गए।

Having said this, Arjuna, his mind overwhelmed with grief, abandoned his bow and arrows and sat down on the seat of his chariot.

doṣhaiḥ:- through evil deeds
etaiḥ:- these
kula-ghnānām:- of those who destroy the family
varṇa-saṅkara:- unwanted progeny kārakaiḥ:- causing
utsādyante:- are ruined
jāti-dharmāḥ:- social and family welfare activities
kula-dharmāḥ:- family traditions
cha:- and
śhāśhvatāḥ:- eternal

दोषैः- दुष्कर्मों से
एतैः- इन सब
कुलघ्नानाम्:- अपने परिवार को नष्ट करने वालों का वर्ण-सङ्कर:- अवांछित संतानों के
कारकैः- कारणों से
उत्साद्यन्ते:- नष्ट हो जाते हैं
जाति-धर्माः- सामुदायिक और परिवार कल्याण की योजनाएँ
कुल-धर्माः- पारिवारिक परम्पराएँ
च:- भी
शाश्वता:- सनातन

अपने दुष्कर्मों से कुल परम्परा का विनाश करने वाले दुराचारियों के कारण समाज में अवांछित सन्तानों की वृद्धि होती है और विविध प्रकार की सामुदायिक और कुटुंब तथा पारिवारिक कल्याण की गतिविधियों का भी विनाश हो जाता है।

Through the evil deeds of those who destroy the family tradition and thus give rise to unwanted progeny, a variety of social and family welfare activities are ruined.
