MYSTICAL ENCOUNTERS: A Secret Journey – Part 24
Lake Brienz

The previous two journeys had taken Mystical Encounters through the majestic Swiss Alps - across mountain trails, alpine meadows, forests and timeless peaks.

Arriving at the tranquil waters of Lake Brienz felt like the completion of that Swiss circuit, where the energy of the mountains gave way to the stillness of the lake.

Carrying Mystical Encounters, I travelled from Interlaken to Iseltwald, the quiet lakeside village on the southern shore of Lake Brienz.

We walked past the Seeburg Castle and along the little lakeside jetty, taking in the calm turquoise water and the mountain reflections.

The wooded slopes above the lake and the distant peaks gave the whole place a timeless sense of peace.

From Iseltwald, we continued by boat across Lake Brienz to Brienz, arriving at the village waterfront and lakeside promenade.

As we approached Brienz, the mountains and forested hills surrounding the lake rose beautifully above the village, while the summer light shimmered across the turquoise waters.

The journey across the lake brought a deep sense of stillness and peace. Throughout the journey, Mystical Encounters remained with me.

The peaceful shores of Iseltwald, and the calm waters of Lake Brienz became a reminder that nature expresses its sacredness in many forms - not only through towering mountains and ancient forests, but also through the silence of a pristine lake.

This completed another sacred activation with Mystical Encounters and brought the Swiss chapter of this Secret Journey to a beautiful close.

The Matterhorn Trail

The Summer Solstice activation continued.

Carrying Mystical Encounters, I travelled from Zermatt to Sunnegga (2,288 m), the "Sunny Corner" of the Swiss Alps.

From there, I took a gondola to the alpine meadows above the picturesque village of Findeln. Looking down, I could see the tiny mountain hamlet and the world famous restaurant Chez Vrony.

Looking around I could see the magnificent Matterhorn, Monte Rosa Massif, Lyskamm, Breithorn and many other peaks of the Pennine Alps rising over us.

Surrounded by alpine meadows, grazing cows, wildflowers and traditional wooden chalets, I sat with Mystical Encounters and meditated in the stillness of the mountains.

The Matterhorn did not feel like a mountain - it felt like an ancient guardian, radiating strength, silence and timeless wisdom.

From there, I walked down through Findeln, passing Chez Vrony, before continuing the 6–7 km descent through fragrant larch and pine forests towards Zermatt (1,608 m).

Along the way, I passed charming alpine chalets, old wooden barns and peaceful mountain paths.

Holding Mystical Encounters throughout this journey, I realised that sacred places are not always temples built by human hands.

Most often they are mountains, forests and meadows that have silently held the Earth's wisdom for thousands of years.

The Matterhorn watched from above.
The forests embraced from below.
This journey became another sacred activation with Mystical Encounters.

Swiss Alps - The Solstice Activation

Part 21 ended in the New Year beside the sacred waters of the Nile. Part 22 begins mid year beneath the radiant light of the Summer Solstice.

The journey moved from the ancient temples of Egypt to the luminous heart of the Swiss Alps, continuing the search for the Divine through sacred places on Earth.

On the day of the Solstice, I carried my book Mystical Encounters to the Gornergrat Summit and meditated during the peak solar window. It was far more than a beautiful mountain visit - it was a Solar Solstice Activation.

Standing over 3,000 metres above sea level, I was surrounded by the majestic Matterhorn, the Monte Rosa massif, Dufourspitze - the highest peak in Switzerland and the vast Gorner Glacier. Together, they created a landscape that felt like a natural temple of light.

For thousands of years, the Summer Solstice has been honoured as a time of maximum solar energy, illumination, and spiritual realignment.

Meditating at Gornergrat on this sacred day felt as though I had stepped into a powerful field of higher consciousness, where Earth and sky seemed to meet.

Holding Mystical Encounters there felt deeply symbolic. The activation too was immediate. Soon after returning, I experienced a strong churning in my stomach, as though my solar plexus was responding to the intensity of the experience.

Whether viewed as an energetic release or my body's response to a profound moment, it reminded me that sacred journeys are experienced not only through the mind, but through the body as well.

As I descended from the summit, I carried with me a deep sense that the mountains had shared something beyond words - something that can only be felt.
