Some places don’t just hold us—they shape us. They quietly become a part of who we are.

More than a Yoga Shālā, this is a place I always long to return to. Not because it is home, but because it reminds me of where I began and where I stand today.

The grace of Shiva and Shakti is felt in every breath I take here. What once seemed beyond imagination quietly unfolded through Shivalayaa, and for that I remain deeply grateful.

I often feel I was chosen to continue a path walked by countless ṛṣis and ācāryas before us—not to create something new, but to humbly preserve and share what has been entrusted through the guru–śiṣya paramparā.

Through the teachings and practice of traditional Haṭha Yoga, I am reminded of the timeless wisdom revealed through the dialogue of Shiva and Shakti—a wisdom that continues to guide the sincere seeker towards clarity, steadiness, and inner freedom.

Over the past decade, every person who has walked through the doors of Shivalayaa has become part of our family. Though we come from different corners of the world, our lives have been woven together by the sacred thread of yogic wisdom.

Long after everyone returns home, that connection remains—carried in practice, in remembrance, and in the quiet transformation that lives within us.
