It was a privilege to be a Speaker at the IMA Uttarpara CME, where I had the opportunity to speak on:
🎤 “HYPOTENSION – The Hidden Pearl”
A clinical journey into recognising the often-overlooked clues behind hypotension and their significance in everyday practice.
I was also honoured to serve as the Moderator for an engaging multidisciplinary panel discussion:

Exploring the diverse faces of diabetes beyond the conventional classifications, with insightful perspectives and thought-provoking discussions.

🩸 আসন্ন রক্তদান শিবির – আপনার এক ফোঁটা রক্ত বাঁচাতে পারে একটি জীবন 🩸
📢 ডায়াবেটিস থাকলে কি রক্তদান করা যাবে? জেনে নিন—
✅ যাদের ডায়াবেটিস খাদ্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ বা মুখে খাওয়ার ওষুধে নিয়ন্ত্রিত, এবং
❌ যাদের লো প্রেসার (orthostatic hypotension), সংক্রমণ, নিউরোপ্যাথি বা রক্তনালীর জটিলতা নেই — তারা রক্তদান করতে পারবেন।
⚠️ তবে,
🔸 গত ৪ সপ্তাহে ওষুধের ডোজ পরিবর্তন হলে আপাতত রক্তদান স্থগিত রাখুন।
🔸 যারা ইনসুলিন নেন বা ডায়াবেটিসের কারণে শরীরের একাধিক অঙ্গ আক্রান্ত — তারা রক্তদান করতে পারবেন না।
💡 সচেতন হোন, সুস্থ থাকুন, অন্যের জীবন বাঁচান।

🩸 থাইরয়েড রোগ থাকলেও রক্তদান করা যায়!
আপনি যদি থাইরয়েডের ওষুধ খান, তবুও আপনি রক্তদান করতে সক্ষম হতে পারেন ❤️
✅ আপনি রক্ত দিতে পারবেন যদি:
• আপনার থাইরয়েড সমস্যা benign (সাধারণ) হয়
• আপনি উপসর্গহীন হন
• ওষুধে আপনার থাইরয়েড নিয়ন্ত্রণে (Euthyroid) থাকে
• গত ৮ সপ্তাহে ওষুধের ডোজ পরিবর্তন না হয়ে থাকে
❌ আপনি রক্ত দিতে পারবেন না যদি:
• Thyrotoxicosis থাকে
• ম্যালিগন্যান্ট থাইরয়েড টিউমারের ইতিহাস থাকে
💡 সন্দেহ থাকলে অবশ্যই চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নিন
