*Summing up lessons I learned the hard way*
* “It doesn’t matter how much of love you have to give around until you save part of it for yourself ”.As no one can be so perfect to understand your need of providing and receiving the love (Not even your partner in some cases) till you start giving that love to yourself and feel like you deserve it all.
* “If you have hit rock bottom there is only way up from there”. Take a break even if it means to leave your job for some time or staying away from people you care for or love the most. Sometimes without realising we welcome so many people in our Personal space that we endup having no space for our own selves. So make sure you show everyone the door out of your personal space and make room for yourself even if it means for you to lose some people in the process. YOU DAMN WELL DESERVE BETTER.
* “Start doing the things you used to like before the situation or event made you go nuts”. It will be difficult to connect at first, you may have lost the touch by now too . Thats fine. Keep doing it anyway. After some time it will come back to you. Some times it takes more time but you will get there as long as you keep trying from the core of your bones.
* “Its okay to be insensitive to others needs some times to protect your peace”. As an elder daughter in my family and eldest daughter in law I really got screwed up almost everyway. It was naturally expected for me to always take care of literally all adults around me as if I have no other purpose in my life. I had accepted my fate after alot of inner struggles. NOT ANYMORE. I realised that if I prioritise every one else but me I am the reason for my misery. People will always want to take even the last bite out of your mouth as long as you are willing to give it to them. No one cares for you till you take your stand and set boundaries.
*”Start observing actions rather than believing words “- alot will start getting clearer to you. You will get strength to choose yourself once you see how little people are willing to do for you when you for the first time need them.
