This place isn’t just iconic… it’s personal.
This is my bandmate’s alma mater — where earned his master’s degree, trained in the depths of Indian classical music, and became the extraordinary tabla player he is today. A highly decorated student of one of the most respected music departments in the world.🙏❤️🔱🔱

Being here with him stirred something deep in me.
The lineage. The discipline. The devotion. The fire.
The way music here isn’t a career… it’s a spiritual path.

Rudra Rising was born from this exact fusion —
ancient rhythm + modern soul
East + West
discipline + rebellion
devotion + creative fire

And standing here together, at the source of so much musical heritage, felt like a blessing on our journey.
This music we’re creating carries all of this with it.

Introducing the next phase of my music career and journey in
collaboration with masterful tabla player Suraj ❤️❤️❤️and our band we have formed
And correction -this is not a collaboration but a partnership in music a partnership with our sankalpa of spreading the good vibes of music to the whole world 🙏🙏

Seriously Suraj is a freaking rock star Tabla maestro born and raised in Varanasi, India -steeped in the deep traditions of Indian classical music and also knows how to ROCK🤘🤘

Few weeks in rishikesh and Varanasi
We have amazing video footage and photos shot in the most amazing temples 🙏🙏and on the Ganga thanks to Suraj brilliant creative vision and arrangement
