🙏🙏Standing in front of the temple at Banaras Hindu University — feeling the weight, beauty, and blessing of centuries of sacred sound.
✨
This place isn’t just iconic… it’s personal.
This is my bandmate’s alma mater — where earned his master’s degree, trained in the depths of Indian classical music, and became the extraordinary tabla player he is today. A highly decorated student of one of the most respected music departments in the world.🙏❤️🔱🔱
Being here with him stirred something deep in me.
The lineage. The discipline. The devotion. The fire.
The way music here isn’t a career… it’s a spiritual path.
Rudra Rising was born from this exact fusion —
ancient rhythm + modern soul
East + West
discipline + rebellion
devotion + creative fire
And standing here together, at the source of so much musical heritage, felt like a blessing on our journey.
This music we’re creating carries all of this with it.
From Banaras to Los Angeles.
From sacred tradition to modern transcendence.
The rhythm continues. 🖤🔥
