🌟✨Long-Term Surgical Result Series; Case #1
Operating on a high -risk Nanophthalmos eye is one of the toughest challenges a surgeon can face. Back during the peak of covid-19 in 2021 a patient came to our centre in extreme,painful distress with an intraocular pressure (IOP) spiked at 62 mmHg with an axial length of just 20 mm. Her eye was exceptionally small and crowded. She had already been turned away by multiple centres due to incredibly high risk of catastrophic intraoperative complications.
We knew stakes were high but giving up was not an option. Through meticulous planning careful preoperative iop reduction, a YAG peripheral iridotomy and precise surgical ex*****on we successfully navigated the challenges

Today the patient is doing fantastic VISION: stable at a wonderful 6/9
IOP :well under control
RESULTS: a pain free extremely happy and satisfied patient
