The Indian Metrological Department has also issued a heatwave warning till March 16 in Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts.

1) Avoid outdoor heat exposure between 11:30 am to 4 pm. Keep cool. Avoid dehydration.

2) Drink sufficient water- even if not thirsty.

3) Avoid heat exposure, wear lightweight, light-coloured, loose, cotton clothes and cover the head by use of cloth, hat or umbrella when outdoors etc.

4) Use ORS, Water, Lemon Water, Watermelon Juice etc to keep yourself hydrated.

MoA is delighted to announce the publication of the study protocol on Covisheild plus Ashwagandha in the research journal: Frontiers in Medicine.

This hypothesis of better efficacy with a combination of vaccine (Covishield) and Ashwagandha is being tested in a drug trial launched by Ministry of Ayush and CCRAS in several clinical centres.

दूसरी तस्वीर देखिए, दूसरी तस्वीर आचार्य सुश्रुत द्वारा रचित सुश्रुत संहिता से ली गई है। आचार्य सुश्रुत आज से लगभग 2700 साल पहले अपने आश्रम में चिकित्सा के छात्रों को शल्य क्रिया यानि कि ऑपरेशन करना सिखाते थे, और वो शल्य क्रिया का अभ्यास सब्ज़ियों, फलों और मृत देह पर करते थे।

हमारे देश का चिकित्सा सम्बंधी ज्ञान उस समय भी इतना उन्नत था। इसका सबसे पहला नुक़सान किया बख़्तियार ख़िलजी ने जिसने नालंदा विश्वविद्यालय की लाइब्रेरी जहाँ एक सी एक किताबें रखी थीं उसमें आग लगवा दी थी, वो लाइब्रेरी इतनी बड़ी थी कि पूरे तीन महीने तो वहाँ आग जलती रही और वो आग अपने साथ उस समय तक संचित हमारे देश का अनमोल ज्ञान भी अपने साथ जला ले गई।

उसके बाद आए तमाम विदेशी आक्रमणकारियों ने इस देश को हर तरह से नुक़सान पहुँचाया और जो सबसे बड़ा नुक़सान पहुँचाया वो हमारी सभ्यता और हमारी धरोहरों नष्ट करके पहुँचाया।

बाद में अंग्रेज़ों ने तो हमारी पूरी शिक्षा प्रणाली ही बर्बाद करके हमें अंग्रेज़ी का वैचारिक ग़ुलाम बना दिया।

इसीलिए जो #आयुर्वेद आज से ढाई हज़ार साल पहले शल्य क्रिया करना जानता था उसकी पहचान आज सिर्फ़ जड़ी बूटियों तक सिमट गई है...

हालाँकि हमें पूरा विश्वास है कि आयुर्वेद अपना खोया हुआ गौरव पुनः प्राप्त करेगा ।
