The unit is dedicated to providing treatment to infertile couples. It is also involved in basic research and teaching courses to clinicians and embryologists in human reproductive medicine. The unit is led by Dr G. Rama Raju, the medical director and a team of five Gynecologists, three Embryologists, two Geneticists, one research officer and fully trained ten fertility nurses. esearch has 551 citations and h-index 10 and i10-index 11. The unit is in an area of 30,000 square feet with a dedicated, fully equipped ultra-modern IVF Lab, Andrology Lab, Genetics Lab, Endocrinology Lab and modern Endoscopy theatre offering daycare reproductive surgery. The unit has a fully equipped conference hall with teaching facilities. The clinic has a PhD program as an external research centre for two universities: Andhra University, Visakhapatnam (a famous, 100 years old University) and a modern University – GITAM University, Visakhapatnam. Apart from the above, the clinic has a visiting Professor at Sri Ramachandra Medical University, Chennai, an Honorary Professor in the Department of Bio-Technology, Andhra University and a visiting Professor at Giessen University, Germany. Recently it concluded a research agreement with SAMSUNG Medical India, which is known for developing applications in the field of Ultrasound (Sonography). We conduct Preceptorship programs for Reproductive Endocrinologists at our centre. The objective is to train the Infertility specialists, and familiarise them with the approach to provide personalized patient care and exposure to the latest technology needed to manage infertility and reproductive disorders, thus improving patient outcomes.
