We finally went inside our abandoned Italian ruin… and honestly, we had no idea what to expect.
This 200+ year old stone building has been left untouched for decades — and what we found inside tells a story of how people used to live, work, and survive here in the mountains of Umbria.
From a hidden oven used centuries ago…
to a collapsing main house…
to signs of an old farming life…
this was our very first time exploring the ruin that came with our property in Italy.
And it changed how we see this place completely.
