imagine becoming so obsessed with being skinny now, making you lose sight of what impact that’ll have on your future.

imagine teaching young girls to be small and that having a thigh gap is more important than building muscle that will will literally save you and your bones from breaking if you were to fall over. people are breaking bones from falling from ground level!! trust me i know, i’m a physio that works in an A&E department.

and don’t get me started on cognitive function. it absolutely hurts my soul seeing members of my family not prioritise their physical health which has ultimately led to their cognitive decline. so yea, i’ll take looking “too bulky” over chasing skinny.

i hope this puts things into perspective.
