This is the microfiltration rating of the Easy Pure membrane, an anti-Legionella filter developed to help control the water supplied to dental units.

Narrow tubing, water stagnation and intermittent flow can create conditions that promote microbiological contamination and biofilm formation within dental unit waterlines.

For this reason, water management does not concern only what is delivered through the instruments, but the entire route the water follows inside the dental unit.

Easy Pure works through a microfiltration membrane, adding a physical barrier to the water supply system before delivery.

In a previous post, we highlighted an important finding: according to a meta-analysis published in BMC Oral Health, 77% of the samples analysed from dental unit waterlines exceeded the bacterial limits recommended by the CDC.

This finding shows that dental unit water management is not a secondary concern, but an integral part of microbiological control within the dental practice.

Narrow tubing, low flow rates and periods of stagnation can promote the formation of biofilm on the internal surfaces of the water circuits, making a specific and consistent sanitation protocol essential.

Before illuminating the operating field in a dental practice, a light must pass a fundamental inspection: the assessment of its illumination performance.

Before a component is assembled, painted or integrated into a device, there is a stage that often remains invisible, yet has a direct impact on final quality: sanding.

Arms, heads, casings, handles and structural components are worked individually to even out surfaces, correct any irregularities and prepare each part for the next stages of production.

It is not simply about making a component look cleaner. A well-finished surface helps parts fit together more precisely, supports the continuity of subsequent processes and contributes to the overall accuracy of the finished product.
