🌺 I am discovering how a single flower can transform my entire day. As I stand beside it, words begin to bloom within me…

🌸I want to be as open as the petals of a flower. I want to be bright and colorful in my surroundings. I want to stand in beauty. I want to embrace my uniqueness, I want to stand with confidence, even when standing alone.

Softness is often mistaken for weakness, but sometimes it is evidence of everything someone has survived.
You don’t become gentle because life has always been kind to you.
You become gentle because you know exactly what harshness can do.
There is tremendous strength in feeling pain without turning it into someone else’s pain.
In choosing compassion when anger would be easier.
In breaking a pattern instead of passing it forward.
Perhaps real resilience isn’t becoming harder — it’s becoming wise enough to remain tender without abandoning your boundaries.

🌀Swinging in a hammock can soothe the nervous system, lift my mood, and invite relaxation.

😊It can also lift my spirits and bring a sense of playfulness into life. There is potency in the simple movements of swinging and rocking.

A simple tool with a powerful effect. Give it a try and feel the difference for yourself!

❤️‍🩹If you’d like to learn more about somatic practices and their role in nervous system regulation, there’s still time to register for the Integrated Living Workshop.

❓How Do I journey from One Shore to the Other?

🌊Standing before the Strait of Messina in Calabria, gazing toward the island of Sicily, I wondered how often life makes it difficult to get from one place to another. The currents, both in the sea and in life, can be fierce and overwhelming, especially when the bridge I need does not span the waters between me and where I long to be.

🤵‍♀️Perhaps I am meant to become the bridge itself, connecting distant shores through my own journey, experiences and willingness, creating a path from where I am to where I long to be.

🌹Scents and smell are essential pillars of my personal healing journey. Diane Ackermann says smell is a mute sense, without words. Yet the language it speaks is profound. They can inform a no, a yes, or a maybe; they can bring back cherished memories or stir up overwhelming ones.

🏵️Pleasant aromas seem to reach deep into my tissues, soothe my nervous system, and lift it up, while others can make me feel unsettled.

🌿Strolling through the market in Iquitos and breathing in the fresh scents of plants, flowers, and roots is one of my favorite experiences in Peru. It reminds me that the spirit of every plant surrounds me, supporting my healing and guiding me towards aliveness.

🌺They are life itself.

⛰️Although I grew up in the mountains, in a valley surrounded by rocks and woods, I always felt more drawn to the ocean — to water, to wide horizons, to the feeling of nothing standing between me and the sky.

And yet, somehow, my life path keeps bringing me back to the mountains.

I have started to resonate with a quote by Reinhold Messner: “The mountains are silent teachers with loud echoes.” Perhaps that is what they have been doing all along — teaching me to listen, to slow down, and to ask myself questions I might otherwise avoid.

What are they trying to teach me?

Where does my discomfort with narrow valleys come from?

😩Sometimes the mountains feel too tight, too enclosed, And I realize that I have often associated the narrowness of the mountains with the narrowness of people’s minds — with all the limitations and ways of thinking that I have spent much of my life trying to break free from.

But perhaps I cannot truly break free in peace without first sitting with the rocks.

🪨And this is what the mountains have slowly taught me: although I still prefer wide open spaces, I am learning that narrow spaces can also offer something valuable. They can give me structure. They can teach me to move at my own pace. I can climb without rushing. I can choose another path. I can walk around a mountain or a rock. I don’t always have to reach the summit.

The imprint of the culture I grew up in may sometimes feel narrow, but it does not have to become my limitation. I can choose to expand my mind and my thinking.

⛰️The mountain is another reminder that what challenges me teaches me and I am grateful for every rock that surrounds me.

👸As a child, I often dreamed of being a princess, imagining a life filled with kindness and respect. While I no longer believe in monarchy, those childhood fantasies gave me something magical to dream about and romanticize.

🏰Now, my castle has taken on a new meaning. It is the energy field I carry with me wherever I go. I focus on keeping my inner fortress strong, so it can protect me while still allowing for connection and openness. I try to honor my own system and guide how it responds to different situations. Even if it is not always possible to keep my inner fortress entirely strong, I am aware that it is my responsibility to care for my castle, as it offers me shelter and safety.

🏰In the end in my own unique way, I have truly become the princess of my own castle.

🌳In my home region of South Tyrol, there stands a larch tree that has witnessed a thousand years or more. Each year, it quietly adds a new ring to its trunk, a testament to its patience and resilience. I am fascinated by how much history and quiet strength this ancient tree holds within itself.

💪Resting against this ancient tree, I feel a deep sense of support and healing. It teaches me that patience and steady dedication can blossom into true strength.
