The circle opens Saturday.

And if you’ve been circling around ArtSpell, wondering if this is your invitation…

maybe it is.

ArtSpell is a six-week online creative ritual circle for women who are craving a little more magic, meaning, creativity, and connection in their lives.

Together, we’ll move through the lunar cycle using art-making, ritual, meditation, writing, tarot, symbolism, and archetypal work as doorways into deeper self-exploration.

This isn’t about being “good” at art.
It isn’t about having all the answers.
And it definitely isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about making space to listen to the parts of you that already know.

Each gathering is a little studio, a little sacred circle, a little spell-making session.

Six weeks.
Six lunar moments.
A whole lot of making, noticing, feeling, wondering, and becoming.

We begin Saturday.

I’ve always wanted a Hogwarts for healers.

A place where therapy and magic could meet.

Where we could make art, work with ritual, explore the elements, and remember that healing doesn’t always have to be so serious.

So… I made one.

ArtSpell is a six week journey for healers, helpers, therapists, and magic makers who want to bring a little more enchantment into the way they work.

Today I was given a visibility gift, and a corrective experience. The last time I launched a course I literally walked through fire. I think I have been hiding since.

Visibility wounds are hard to overcome - especially when they are attached to your creativity.

If I’m being honest I was dragging my feet on launching ArtSpell because of the fear of being seen. But Kate launched me forward and gave me the nudge I needed .

This fall, I’m inviting you into ARTspell, a six week journey where Art Therapy meets Witch at the edge of the woods.

ARTspell is an invitation to step outside of the ordinary and into a creative, ritual space where we can listen differently.

Through art making, meditation, elemental practices, and spellwork, we’ll explore what is asking to be released, transformed, reclaimed, and brought to life.

You do not need to be an artist.
You do not need to be a witch.
You simply need to be curious about what might happen when you give yourself permission to create, play, ritualize, and listen.

Traveling Therapist thought of the day. We often talk about how hard our work is … but can we take a second to talk about the privilege our work is? My heart grows three sizes every year… I’m convinced. Any other therapists out there want to share something they love about the work?

My first Solstice ritual wasn’t a ritual at all.

It was watching my mother gather her women friends beneath the moon. There was wine, laughter, storytelling, and the kind of magic that happens when women feel safe enough to be fully themselves.

I think part of me learned then that healing is not always found in solitude. Sometimes it looks like a circle of women, a shared meal, and the permission to celebrate being alive on the longest day of the year.
