GISE - Società Italiana di Cardiologia Interventistica

www.gise.it Il Gruppo Italiano di Studi Emodinamici (GISE) si è costituito nel 1975, coinvolgendo fin dall’inizio 48 laboratori emodinamici italiani.

Nel corso del primo congresso nazionale, a Cittadella (PD) un apposito Comitato è stato incaricato della stesura dello Statuto che, nella versione attuale, all’art. 2 così descrive il GISE:
“L’Associazione riunisce coloro che, in ragione della loro attività assistenziale, didattica e di ricerca, si dedicano allo studio ed allo sviluppo culturale ed operativo dell’Emodinamica e della Cardiologia In

terventistica. L’attività dell’Associazione è rivolta prevalentemente alla promozione degli aspetti scientifici, culturali, tecnico-organizzativi e normativi del settore ed alla realizzazione di studi clinici, congressi, corsi, pubblicazioni, aggiornamenti normativi e contatti con le istituzioni.”

Nel 1989-90 l’associazione ha assunto la denominazione Gruppo Italiano di Studi Emodinamici e Cardiologia Interventistica ed esteso l’iscrizione agli Infermieri e ai Tecnici dei Laboratori di Emodinamica, denominati Soci Aggregati. Nel 1998 è stato approvato l’attuale statuto e il GISE ha assunto la denominazione Società Italiana di Cardiologia Invasiva (SICI-GISE). Nel 1999 è stato fondato il Centro Studi di Cardiologia Invasiva srl che costituisce il braccio operativo del GISE nel campo della ricerca scientifica. Il 2008 è l’anno di nascita della Fondazione GISE. Nel 2015 denominazione è variata in Società Italiana di Cardiologia Interventistica – GISE.
