The UENPS educational mission in China concluded at the 2026 China Care Forum in Luoyang, bringing together international experts and Chinese healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration in neonatal and perinatal care.

Throughout the meeting, the UENPS faculty contributed with keynote lectures and scientific discussions, sharing the latest evidence and clinical experience across a broad range of neonatal topics. The China Care Forum marked the final stage of an inspiring educational journey across China, highlighting the value of international partnerships in advancing neonatal care through education, collaboration, and shared expertise. As the final stop of this educational journey, the China Care Forum reaffirmed UENPS's commitment to fostering international collaboration, scientific exchange, and high-quality education in neonatal and perinatal medicine.

The UENPS RSPCRE Respiratory Care Courses continue in Xi'an, bringing together international faculty and local healthcare professionals for another day of collaborative learning.
Beyond the lectures, participants engaged in interactive hands-on workshops, exploring neonatal airway management, respiratory support techniques, and practical skills through live demonstrations and case-based discussions. The combination of scientific lectures and practical training continues to foster knowledge exchange, strengthen clinical expertise, and promote high-quality neonatal respiratory care across China.

The UENPS RSPCRE Respiratory Care Courses have now reached Jinan, continuing our journey across China to promote excellence in neonatal respiratory care. Today's programme brought together international faculty and local healthcare professionals for a full day of lectures, clinical discussions, and knowledge exchange on the latest advances in neonatal respiratory support. Through open dialogue and shared expertise, the course continues to strengthen international collaboration and support the translation of evidence into everyday clinical practice. Thank you to all speakers, participants, and local organizers for another inspiring day.

The journey continues in Guangzhou. Today's programme focused on interactive learning, combining expert presentations with hands-on workshops, case discussions, and open Q&A sessions. By working side by side, international faculty and local healthcare professionals shared practical approaches to neonatal respiratory support, turning evidence into clinical practice and strengthening collaboration across borders. The programme also provided an opportunity to introduce the upcoming jENS Congress 2027, further strengthening collaboration between the European and Chinese neonatal communities.

Over 10 days, UENPS will travel across five cities in China with the RSPCRE Respiratory Care Courses, bringing together international experts and local healthcare professionals to advance neonatal respiratory care. The programme combines lectures, case discussions, hands-on training, and practical skills in neonatal respiratory support.

A new chapter begins for UENPS.
We are pleased to announce that Prof. Esin Koc has assumed the Presidency of UENPS and will lead the Society together with the newly elected Executive Board. The new Board was elected during the General Assembly held in Bratislava on 28 May 2026, for the 2026–2030 term.

The Board brings together representatives from across Europe and Central Asia, reflecting the diversity, expertise and collaborative spirit that have always characterized UENPS.
During the General Assembly, Prof. Koç presented the strategic priorities for the coming years, focusing on congress sustainability, accessibility, education, research, communication, collaboration with National Societies and reducing disparities in neonatal and perinatal care.
We thank all National Societies for their participation in the election process and look forward to working together to advance the mission of UENPS over the next four years.
