Photography is often one of the last things retreat leaders think about.

Yet once the retreat is over, it becomes one of the most valuable investments you make.

While you’re holding space for your guests, there’s rarely the time or energy to properly document the experience. Later, you’re left with a handful of phone photos and very little to share when it’s time to promote your next retreat.
At Zen Sicily, Krisztina’s sensitive approach allows the retreat to unfold naturally. She captures the atmosphere, the people and the moments that matter with care and respect, creating lasting memories for your guests and authentic content for your future marketing.

A retreat schedule doesn’t need to be filled with sessions from morning until evening.

But adding activities where your group can learn, connect and create together can bring another dimension to the experience.

The Mediterranean Herbal Sanctuary, led by Tiziana Pirotti, is one of the additional experiences available when hosting a retreat at Zen Sicily.

Guests are guided through our Mediterranean aromatic plant garden, discovering local herbs and their properties before bringing what they have gathered into a practical workshop.

Depending on the season, the group may prepare herbal teas, natural body care products or culinary blends.

It’s time spent together, connected to the land, while learning something useful that guests can take home and continue using after the retreat.

The experience can be booked for one or two hours and must be arranged in advance.

Every evening, the sun sets.

There is nothing we can take credit for.

We didn’t create these skies. We simply have the privilege of witnessing them.

What makes a retreat different isn’t the sunset itself. Beautiful sunsets happen all over the world.

It’s that, for perhaps the first time in a long while, you have the space to stop and notice.

You notice the changing colours in the sky.
The breeze at the end of the day.
The sounds of the land settling into evening.

And somewhere in that slowing down, you begin to notice other things too.

Your thoughts.
Your body.
What has been asking for your attention.
What feels important.
What no longer does.

That’s what retreats are really designed for.

Not to escape life, but to step out of its usual pace long enough to see it more clearly.
