It was a great honor to participate, together with Prof. Cosimo Galletti, in the 7th International Conference of Dentistry held in Prishtinë, Kosovo, an international scientific event focused on modern concepts in dentistry, dental anthropology, and forensic dentistry. 🦷
During the conference, we delivered a lecture entitled:
“From Periodontal Disease to Peri-Implantitis: Clinical, Systemic, and Bioengineering Perspectives on a Continuum of Inflammatory Burden.”
Beyond the scientific value of the meeting, this experience further strengthened the excellent academic relationships established over time with colleagues and institutions from Kosovo 🇽🇰. It was an honor to meet professors like Prof. Sllamniku and Prof. Donika Bajrami. In this context, collaboration with the Albanian 🇦🇱 academic environment has also played a key role, particularly thanks to Prof. Meto, whose commitment and vision have significantly contributed to the development of productive international connections among universities, clinicians, and researchers.
What began as a scientific interaction is evolving into a broader collaborative platform encompassing research activities, educational projects, institutional dialogue, and future multidisciplinary initiatives.
We also had the opportunity to meet again at Expo Dental Rimini 2026, where this renewed encounter fostered further discussions about future collaborations, potentially extending to institutional partnerships and broader international initiatives.
I strongly believe that scientific growth increasingly depends on the ability to build authentic international networks grounded in mutual respect, shared expertise, and common academic goals.
Many projects are currently in progress.
Stay tuned.
