In the years ahead, Artificial Intelligence won't be a choice: it will be a circumstance none of us can escape.
We're witnessing a revolution whose impact will exceed even that of the Industrial Revolution: an era that reshaped human anthropology and redrew the global order. Today, AI is doing the same on a personal and professional level alike. Soon, a product or service that isn't powered by AI will feel like the exception.
Medicine, scientific research, and medical devices are no exception. In fact, this may be where AI makes its greatest contribution, using algorithms to distill decades of clinical experience into tools available to everyone.
But this requires a fundamental shift in mindset. We must "𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘐", treating it not as a posthumous add-on, but as a genuine new industrial paradigm. And that demands clear strategies: long-term commitment, significant investment, trained talent, new skills, and certified data to feed the algorithms.
We won't be caught unprepared. For years, we've been working intensely to equip our technologies with AI-based solutions. Along the way, we've discovered something powerful: AI pushes everyone to raise the bar to imagine solutions and products that were previously unthinkable.
Being a leader means facing these challenges with awareness of our potential, but also with the humility to never feel "at the finish line."
This is the challenge for excellence. And it's one we intend to meet head-on.
