4 years after surgery.

Our 52-year-old patient after total face rejuvenation combining Total SMAS face and neck lifting, lipofilling, lower pinch blepharoplasty, and lip lifting.

Before surgery, the patient also presented with large amounts of previously injected filler, which were partially dissolved using hyaluronidase to prepare the tissues for the surgical procedure.

Four years later, the result remains natural, stable, and well integrated, with preserved expression and balanced proportions.

A clear example of how a Total SMAS structural approach allows results to last and evolve naturally over time.

This is Silvia, 10 months after surgery.

We previously shared her result at one month and again at three months. Today, almost one year after surgery, we can appreciate the long-term evolution of her outcome.

After Total SMAS® face lifting combined with blepharoplasty, the tissues have fully settled and the result appears stable, natural, and harmoniously integrated with her facial features.

The contours are well defined, the transition between the different areas of the face is smooth, and her expression and identity remain unchanged.

The fifth meeting of this academic year of the International Second-Level University Master in Functional and Aesthetic Surgery of the Nose and Face took place in Turin, at Ospedale Molinette.

An intense meeting combining live surgery, lectures and discussion. We started from the operating room with a Primary Rhinoplasty and Temporal MORE® combo surgery, followed by our Pre-exam Lecture, From the Basics to Advanced.

A special thank you to Avv. Michele Sarno for an important and in-depth discussion on the legal aspects of our profession, a subject that every surgeon needs to understand and approach with awareness.

My sincere thanks also to Dr. Valerio Ramieri for sharing his experience on facial volumes, from the role of prosthetic implants to the indications for bone surgery.

Different topics, but all part of the same goal: giving our participants a broader and more complete approach to facial surgery.

3 months after Temporal MORE® combined with upper and lower blepharoplasty.

Sometimes, the starting point is already very good. In these cases, the goal is not to change, but to refine what is already there.

For this patient, we focused on subtle, targeted improvements to the periorbital area, opening the eyes, improving the eyelid contour and enhancing the overall harmony while preserving her natural expression.

At 3 months, the difference is subtle but clearly visible: the same eyes, the same expression, just fresher and more defined.

6 months after periorbital rejuvenation in our 56-year-old patient.

In this case, we combined upper and lower blepharoplasty with periorbital fat grafting to address both the eyelids and the loss of volume around the eyes.

The goal was to create a smoother transition between the eyelids and the surrounding areas, restoring a fresher and more rested appearance while preserving the natural expression of the eyes.

Treating the periorbital area means working on different elements together: skin, volume and proportions.

9 months after a complete revision facial rejuvenation.

Our 58-year-old patient underwent a complete revision face and neck lifting, anterior platysmaplasty and upper blepharoplasty.

Revision surgery requires careful planning, especially when previous procedures have already modified the anatomy and tissue planes.

The aim was to reposition the facial and neck tissues, improve the definition of the lower face and neck, and rejuvenate the upper eyelid area while maintaining a natural expression.

At 9 months, the tissues have settled well and we can appreciate a more defined neck and jawline, a fresher eye area and an overall natural facial balance.

A good revision result should not reveal how much has been done. It should simply look natural.

3 years after breast symmetrization and reconstruction.

This case required a tailored approach to restore breast symmetry and redefine the inframammary fold.

The surgery included symmetrization mastopexy, revision and reconstruction of the inframammary fold, removal of the previous scar, and placement of 460 cc Ergonomic implants by GC Aesthetics with a dual plane technique.

The treatment was subsequently completed with two lipofilling sessions, performed to restore the appropriate soft-tissue thickness and provide adequate coverage of the implants.

At 3 years, we can appreciate the stability of the inframammary fold, improved symmetry and a natural breast contour.

In cases like this, achieving a good result is not only about choosing the right implant. The position of the fold, tissue thickness and implant coverage all need to be carefully addressed.

18 months later.

A long-term follow-up that allows us to focus on one of the most important areas in facial rejuvenation: the periorbital region.

In this case, the work around the eyes involved orbicularis muscle repositioning, canthopexy, management of the fat pads, and treatment of the eyelid skin.

The aim was to address the different structures of the periorbital area together, improving the eye contour while preserving the patient’s natural expression.

At 18 months, we can appreciate a more rested and open look, with a smoother transition around the eyes and a natural result that has remained stable over time.

Periorbital rejuvenation is not just about the eyelids. It is about treating the eye area as a whole.
