1 year after Revision rhinoplasty

The main challenge in this revision case was a significant C-shaped deviation, resulting in a visibly crooked nose after previous surgery.

Through an open approach, we were able to directly address the altered nasal structures, restore support, improve alignment, and achieve better balance along the entire nasal axis.

At 1 year post-op, the nose appears straighter and more symmetrical, with stable definition and proportions that integrate naturally with the patient’s facial features.

Revision surgery is often the most challenging form of facial plastic surgery.

This patient had previously undergone a direct brow lift and a temporal lift, in addition to other facial procedures, resulting in altered anatomy that required a highly individualized surgical plan.

Our approach included revision rhinoplasty, revision dynamic canthopexy, Temporal MORE®, upper blepharoplasty, and fat grafting of the upper eyelids and malar region.

Custom-made PEEK zygomatic implants, combined with revision canthoplasty and fat grafting.

Every face is unique. The same should be true for facial implants.

In this case, the cornerstone of the treatment was the placement of custom-made PEEK zygomatic implants, individually designed to match the patient’s anatomy and achieve precise skeletal augmentation while preserving natural facial proportions.

The surgical planning was carried out allowing every detail of the implant design and positioning to be tailored to the patient’s specific needs.

The patient also presented with bilateral ectropion and disfiguring scars following two previous blepharoplasty and canthoplasty procedures.

To complete the reconstruction, we combined the skeletal enhancement with revision canthoplasty and fat grafting, restoring eyelid support, improving soft tissue quality, and achieving a more harmonious transition between the lower eyelids and the midface.

5 months after surgery.

Revision face and neck lifting with Total SMAS, platysmaplasty, lip lift, and scar revision.

Revision surgery is one of the most demanding procedures in facial plastic surgery. Previous operations alter the anatomy, create scar tissue, and often leave issues that require a highly individualized approach.

In this patient, the objective was to address a previously undercorrected neck, restore a well-defined cervicomental angle, and improve the overall harmony of the lower face and neck.

An equally important part of the procedure was the revision of the previous facelift scar. Scar quality is never a secondary detail. 4 months after nasal reconstruction.

Four months ago, we shared this patient’s very first look at her reconstructed nose, just one week after surgery.

The main challenge in this case was the reconstruction of the nasal tip cartilages, which had been sacrificed during a previous rhinoplasty. Restoring structure and support to the tip was essential to recover both form and function.

Today, at four months, the result appears more refined and stable. The tip has regained support and definition, while the nose blends naturally with the rest of the face.

Reconstructive surgery is not simply about replacing what has been lost. It is about restoring anatomy, function, harmony, and ultimately, the patient’s confidence.
