It is with great sadness that we announce that Sarah Barnes, after a combined 23 years at Greencliff Chiropractic Clinic under Olivia Jackson, and more recently at SpineLab Jersey under Sam Jackson, will be leaving to begin a very exciting new role.

Some colleagues go far beyond co-worker status and become family. Sarah is one of those people.

Her warmth, humour, and ability to make people feel welcome have been a huge part of both clinics for many years. I am sure many of you will miss the chats that somehow managed to continue long after appointments had finished.

While we are incredibly sad to see her go, we are equally excited for her. Her new role is something genuinely valuable for the island. Unfortunately, we cannot say more just yet as it has not been publicly announced, but I look forward to continuing to work alongside her in this new chapter.

Wishing you all the very best, Sarah. Thank you for everything. I am going to miss our chats.

And yes… I promise that one day I will finally give padel tennis a try.

Our clinical approach is finely tuned to navigate these nuances, ensuring patients receive the most appropriate care.

By showing patients what they can do for themselves, we aim to boost their confidence and equip them with the tools they need to self-manage their pain, even when the exact cause remains elusive. Our ultimate goal is to restore confidence in physical abilities, regain lost functionality, and build resilience for lasting relief.

Meet Sam Jackson DC

Hello wonderful community, I am Sam Jackson, a local chiropractor, stepping into the esteemed shoes of my mother, the legendary Olivia Jackson. And believe me, I know those are some big shoes to fill. No pressure, right?

While the clinic might sport a fresh coat of paint and a new nameplate, its heart and soul remain unchanged. We have updated and rebranded, but the core values and exceptional care that you have cherished remain intact. During this transition, I am working closely with Olivia to ensure a seamless continuity in your care.

For those who might not recognise me from the night shifts, I have been part of the Greencliff family for a decade. Beyond my chiropractic practice, I am developing an innovative online educational platform for back pain self-management. This led to the creation of my prototype gym, blending biomedical engineering, fitness, animation, and gamification to elevate patient care. This complements traditional chiropractic services by empowering individuals to rediscover confidence in their physical abilities.

Our clinic now also delves into general health monitoring and cognitive therapies. Our mission? To reshape perceptions about pain and empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives. This vision took root when I founded a non-profit clinic that assessed and guided over 4,000 individuals towards healthier lifestyles over six years. This endeavour has taught me the transformative power of education in health.

As Nelson Mandela aptly put it, “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world." My approach is characterised by its hybrid, personalised, and patient-led ethos, with a strong focus on education and self-care to empower those with pain.

Well what a day!!, after 46years of an amazing career Olivia finally retired. Thank you to everyone for all your support over the years.
