What a beautiful restorative yoga class to teach today 🌿✨

Our practice was centred around the energy of June — a season of fullness, outward expression, abundance, and light. As life becomes brighter, busier, and more alive, we explored what it means to stay rooted within ourselves.

Through softness, stillness, and breath, we invited the fascial web to soften, hydrate, and adapt — allowing energy to move through the body with steadiness, rather than depletion.

A gentle reminder that expansion doesn’t have to mean overextending. We can bloom and remain grounded. We can open to more while staying deeply connected to ourselves.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, 11–18 May, the theme is community — which feels so close to the heart of everything I do at Prana Health & Wellbeing.

I love teaching my weekly restorative yoga classes and witnessing the beautiful group of women who come together each week. There is something so powerful about a shared space where women can soften, exhale, be held, and simply be themselves.

Every week, we take precious time out from the busyness of life to pause, rest, and focus on relaxing the nervous system and our fascia. But it’s more than just the yoga. It’s the quiet support, the gentle presence, the conversations, the kindness, and the feeling that no one has to carry everything alone.

This is what community means to me. 🫶🏼💕

It’s looking out for each other. It’s creating safe spaces. It’s reminding one another to slow down, breathe, and come home to ourselves. It’s healing alongside each other, in ways that are often quiet but deeply meaningful.

I feel so very grateful for my amazing clients and for the beautiful Prana community. It is a privilege to support each and everyone of you on your healing journeys, for you to trust me to treat you, to hold space for you, and to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your body, your breath, and your inner calm.

This week is a reminder that we really do heal better when we look out for each other.

Thank you to every person who is part of the Prana community — you make it such a special, supportive and heart-led space. 🥰

🌿 A Heartfelt Update from Prana Health & Wellbeing 🌿

To my wonderful clients,

I want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support, loyalty, and trust in me and Prana Health & Wellbeing.

From 1 May, there will be a small increase of £5 on massage treatments.

This is the first time I have increased my prices in over 2 years, and it is something I have thought carefully about. Like many small businesses, the cost of supplies, rent, and day-to-day running expenses have continued to rise, and this small increase will help me continue to provide the care, time, and quality that you deserve.

I am so grateful for every booking, every recommendation, every kind word, and every person who trusts me to treat and heal them. Your support allows my small business to keep growing, and I never take that for granted.

Thank you for your understanding and for being such an important part of the Prana Health & Wellbeing journey.

Happy Earth Day 🌱 🌍 love from Prana Health & Wellbeing.

Today is a beautiful reminder that healing does not only happen on the massage table, on the yoga mat, or during Reiki — it also happens in nature. In the stillness of the trees, the warmth of the sun, the rhythm of the waves, and the grounding energy beneath our feet, Mother Nature offers us deep restoration, balance, and peace. 🌳 ☀️ 🌊

As a massage therapist, yoga teacher, and Reiki master, I’m constantly inspired by the wisdom of nature. She teaches us to slow down, to breathe deeply, to soften, to release, and to trust in the natural flow of healing. So much of our wellbeing is connected to the world around us, and when we care for the Earth, we are also caring for ourselves.

This Earth Day, may we take a moment to give thanks for the beauty, nourishment, and healing that nature gives so freely — and remember our responsibility to protect and honour her in return.

Let’s move gently, live mindfully, and cherish this precious planet we call home.

As a mother myself, I know that being a mum is one of the most beautiful, rewarding, exhausting, and emotional journeys there is. It’s filled with love so deep it’s hard to put into words, and with so many quiet moments of giving, nurturing, worrying, comforting, and holding everything together.

Today, I want to send love to all the amazing mummies — to those soaking up precious cuddles, to those doing their very best through the hard days, to those carrying so much behind their smile, and to those whose love shines through in everything they do.🩷🙏🩷

Being a mother is not always easy, but it is the most precious gift in the world, powerful, selfless, and extraordinary. So today is for you — for your strength, your softness, your sacrifices, and the endless love you give so freely.

🧘‍♀️At Prana Healing & Wellbeing, I love teaching restorative yoga because it offers something so many of us deeply need — the chance to slow down, soften, ground, rest, and surrender into relaxation. ♥️💆‍♀️🤗

When I was younger, I practised a much more dynamic flow style of yoga. But as I’ve grown older and developed as a yoga teacher, I’ve come to truly love both practising and teaching restorative yoga for the deep connection it brings. It allows us to pause, listen, and simply be.

Restorative yoga gently supports the body’s natural ability to heal and helps calm the nervous system, which is so vital for our overall wellbeing. In a world that often encourages constant busyness, restorative yoga reminds us that rest is not a luxury — it is essential.🫶🏼

I strongly believe that everyone can benefit from restorative yoga, and that it is a practice accessible to all.

If you’d like to join me, my weekly class takes place every Wednesday morning from 10:00–11:30am at the JADC Clubhouse in St Saviour.
