📌 A LITTLE APPOINTMENT HOUSEKEEPING
This is a friendly guide to help bookings and appointments run smoothly for everyone—whether you are a new client or have been coming to me for years. Please have a read before booking. 🤍

Please keep the conversation in one place rather than messaging through several different platforms—it saves us both from playing detective trying to find half a conversation. 😂
When requesting an appointment, please include:
• Your full name—I don’t book anonymous clients
• The exact treatment and areas you would like
• The days and times you can attend
• If you are a new waxing client, when you last shaved or waxed the area

Please check the website before messaging, as it may already answer your question and help you decide exactly what you would like to book.
📆 PLEASE SAVE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Once we have agreed on your appointment date and time, please save it in your phone calendar straight away.
I no longer send separate appointment confirmations, so please keep a record of the appointment when you book it. This also helps avoid multiple messages asking when your appointment is—your phone calendar remembers these things much better than either of us should have to! 😂
An automatic reminder is sent 24 hours before your appointment. This is a courtesy reminder, not an opportunity to cancel, reschedule or reduce the appointment. Any changes must be made with at least 48 hours’ notice, before the reminder is sent.
📅 BOOKING AHEAD
Appointments—particularly evenings and other popular times—can fill several weeks in advance.
If you need a particular day or time, please book ahead. I strongly recommend booking your next appointments before leaving, as I cannot guarantee future availability or always accommodate last-minute requests.
👁️ EYELASH & EYEBROW TINTING
If you book an eyelash or eyebrow tint and have never had the treatment done with me before, you will need a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.
This still applies if you have previously had tinting done elsewhere. The treatment cannot go ahead without the required patch test, so please mention this when booking.
✂️ HAIR GROWTH & SHAVING
Waxing needs enough hair growth to work properly. Shaving or trimming between appointments interrupts the waxing cycle and may leave the hair too short to remove.
Please allow the hair to grow fully between waxes. Trust the process—even when the temptation to reach for the razor strikes! 😂
You know your own hair-growth pattern, so please check it in plenty of time. If you don’t believe there will be enough growth, I need at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or change the appointment—not the day before or on the day.
Insufficient hair growth is still a late cancellation when less than 48 hours’ notice is given. If fewer treatments or areas are required, please also let me know at least 48 hours beforehand, as the original appointment time has been reserved especially for you.
🩸 PERIODS & INTIMATE WAXING
I’ve been a waxer for 16 years, so trust me—a period isn’t going to frighten me or stop me now! 😂
You can still have an intimate wax during your period if you are comfortable wearing a fresh tampon or menstrual cup.
If you cannot use either, please track your cycle and try to arrange your waxing appointments between periods. A period arriving doesn’t remove the need to provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or move your appointment.
⏰ CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel, move or substantially reduce an appointment.
Short-notice cancellations leave gaps that I’m unlikely to refill, particularly during popular evening times. Same-day cancellations and missed appointments are considered no Shows which are charged at 100% of the booked treatment value.
Please only reserve an appointment that you genuinely intend and are prepared to attend.
🚗 BEFORE ARRIVING
My full address, directions and a location pin will be provided before your first appointment. Please read the directions before setting off, even if you have visited previously.
Allow enough time for travelling and parking, as arriving late reduces the time available for your treatment. I may not be able to answer the phone or come outside when I’m with another client.
Please also avoid arriving too early expecting to be seen straight away. I work by appointment and may be with another client or preparing the room for you.
👤 COMING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please come to your appointment on your own wherever possible. My studio is private and designed for calm, one-to-one treatments—particularly intimate waxing.
Only the person booked for the appointment should come into the studio. Friends and partners are very welcome to wait comfortably in the car while you have your treatment—I promise I’ll return you safely to them, complete with your chocolate at the end! 😂🍫
I genuinely don’t mind you bringing your little one if childcare isn’t possible. I have a child myself, so I completely understand that sometimes we simply have to make things work. I have a playpen and a room divider available to give us some privacy during the treatment. 🤍
I also understand if you care for someone who cannot be left alone. Please just let me know beforehand.
🔞 CLIENTS UNDER 18
Anyone under 18 must have their appointment booked for them by a parent or legal guardian. Their age must be disclosed when booking, as some treatments are not suitable or available for all ages.
Please don’t book an appointment without mentioning that the client is under 18. Depending on their age and the treatment requested, their parent or guardian may also need to remain present.
These guidelines aren’t intended to sound unfriendly. They protect my working time, help appointments run calmly and allow me to give every client the private, professional experience they deserve.
