Complex Care - what does it involve?
Our Complex Care Team supports adults with a wide range of complex physical care needs, helping people to live active, fulfilling and independent lives.
The role can involve supporting with diabetes management, including administering insulin and monitoring blood glucose levels, PEG feeding and tube management, catheter and bowel care, including irrigation techniques, as well as using specialist equipment and driving modified vehicles.
There is a lot to learn, but that is also what makes complex care such an interesting and rewarding area to work in. You’ll receive extensive training, full nursing support and opportunities to complete RQF qualifications, helping you build your confidence, develop specialist knowledge and advance your care skills.
And most importantly, you’ll be supporting some amazing individuals. Complex care isn’t about staying in one place — our teams are active, out and about, supporting people to do the things that matter to them.
For the right person, it’s an amazing opportunity to learn, grow and make a genuine difference every day. 💙
